Built to replace a much-loved worn-out wood store. The single-pitch, timber shed is set off the damp Cumbrian earth on brick piles and clad in locally grown larch, a naturally weather resistant timber, to withstand the unpredictable Lake District weather.
The shed stands, tucked behind a hazel hedge and an apple tree, a much-needed space for storing bikes, kayaks and lawn-mowers in a garden for adventures.
The young brother of the shed is a small wood store, made from an old bed, this, along with the generously overhanging eave provides extra timber storage and a spot to shelter from the rain.
